This test detects variations in the MTHFR gene. It identifies individuals with reduced folate metabolism who may be at an increased risk for cardiovascular disease. It can only be added to the NutrEval® FMV or NutrEval® Plasma tests. This test cannot be ordered for patients under two years of age.

This test detects variations in the APOE gene. It helps identify the most efficacious treatment regimen for lowering low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and reducing heart disease risk. Please be advised that Boston Heart Diagnostics policy states that practitioners cannot order labs on themselves or their immediate family members.

This test detects variations in the COMT gene. It can only be added to the NutrEval® FMV or NutrEval® Plasma tests. This test cannot be ordered for patients under two years of age.

The Methylation Panel is designed to offer insight into the critical biochemical methylation pathway. It can uncover a patient's nutritional support needs (such as amino acids, vitamins, and minerals) by measuring methylation metabolites in plasma. This test cannot be ordered for patients under two years of age. YOU MUST ORDER THE METHYLATION GENOMICS ADD-ON SEPARATELY.
