Rupa Health is on a mission to make lab testing more affordable and accessible. To help get there, we’ve made submitting claims to insurance that much easier for your patients.
We’re excited to announce that patients will now receive a pre-filled Superbill for every patient pay order!
While creating an order, you can select ICD-10 diagnosis code(s) that will then appear in the Superbill provided to your patient. This way your patient will no longer have to reach out to you to obtain these codes!
What will your patient see?
Once an order is fully paid, patients will be able to download an itemized receipt and corresponding Superbill. Patients will also always have access to a blank Superbill template and instructions to complete it.
A Superbill is an itemized receipt of services a patient can submit to insurance after payment and services have been performed. The Superbill provided to patients is intended for reference only. Nothing in this document is intended to serve as reimbursement advice, a guarantee of coverage, or a guarantee of payment for lab testing. Patients should refer to their applicable payer policies for more specific guidance; all coverage decisions are up to the insurance provider.
You can now easily create blood panels by searching biomarkers and comparing labs.

Rupa Health has joined forces with Axle Health to offer a convenient mobile phlebotomy service🩸 for your patients in 17 US metro areas: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Miami, Orange County, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa, Washington DC.
What does this mean for you and your patients?
🏡 Phlebotomy at Their Doorstep: Your patients can now schedule a skilled phlebotomist to bring their service to their home location at a time that suits their schedule.
🔄 Flexible Options: If your patients prefer not to use Axle's mobile service, Rupa will provide a list of local phlebotomy options for them to choose from.
Patients can pay the $80 blood draw fee directly at checkout. This means a more streamlined experience, allowing your patients to take care of all necessary payments in one seamless transaction.
Your patients can now easily create a secure patient account and access all their lab information in the new Patient Portal, including:
📦 Order status, including payment, lab specimen, shipping, and results
🧪 Requisition forms and step-by-step lab test instructions

Signing up is super easy! Your patients will be prompted to create an account when they pay for their first order and will be able to log in any time.

Before using a kit on a patient, simply activate your kit by placing the order on Rupa and selecting “In Office” delivery method at check-out. Super easy! 🤩
You can currently order the lab supplies from Access, DUTCH, Diagnostic Solutions, Boston Heart, US Biotek & Alletess. Best part? We’re working on adding new labs ASAP!
We've just launched Transaction Reports, a way for clinics to download their Order and Billing history with Rupa. Now, you can customize a date range and download a history of your patient orders, billing information, custom fee payouts, and lab test order history.
