With custom settings, you can automatically release results to patients, create & edit custom bundles, add & manage your team members, set preferred phlebotomists, and more all in one place!

Automatically release results to patients

If you want patients to see their test results at the same time as you, simply toggle this feature “on”. Patients will receive an e-mail with their test results as soon as they are available in Rupa.

Create & edit custom bundles

With custom bundles, you can create, save, and name any lab test bundle of your choosing from multiple lab providers for easy one-click ordering.

Now, you can access & edit bundles right in your settings, in addition to creating them when starting a new order. More choices for whichever way you prefer!

Add & manage your team members

If you’re in a practice or clinic with either multiple practitioners or staff members, you can easily manage who has access to your Rupa account. In this screen, you can:

• Get an overview of who has access to your Rupa account
• Invite a new team member
• Request that Rupa update or remove a team member

Set your preferred phlebotomist

Since many of our practitioners order labs with a blood draw requirement, we want to make sure you and your patients’ phlebotomy experience is as simple and as easy as possible.

Whether you prefer to send your patients to a specific phlebotomist, a blood draw center, or have it done in your office, you can manage that all here! Based on the preferences you set, we’ll send a custom e-mail to your patients every time you order a blood draw lab that tells them where to go, the cost, and any custom instructions you want to send.

• 🔍 Import unlimited past results from any lab company - even ones not offered on Rupa! Simply drag and drop results files or screenshots of them, we'll extract all the data for you.
• 🩸 Visualize results from Rupa orders entirely automatically. Including all basic blood labs, some hormone labs, and more.
• 🎯 Optionally set and customize optimal ranges to quickly spot markers that stray from the ideal.
• 🤓 100% Free for you and your clients to use!

Getting lab results faster can make a significant difference in patient care. That's why we're introducing a new feature: Rupa now supports preliminary results from Access Medical Labs. ✨

What's a preliminary result? A preliminary result is an individual biomarker result shared with you immediately after it's processed by the lab, without waiting for the entire order to be completed. This allows you to:

• ⚡️ Receive results much faster—often days earlier than before.
• 📈 Start analyzing and acting on data as it becomes available.
• 🧪 Provide your patients with quicker insights, potentially leading to faster treatment decisions.

Why this matters? In many cases, you'll receive preliminary results within hours of the lab test, compared to waiting days for the full report. This dramatic speed increase empowers you to:

• 🌱 Begin formulating treatment plans earlier.
• 🩸 Quickly identify concerning values that may need immediate attention.
• 💙 Reduce patient anxiety by delivering faster feedback.

From now on, you’ll receive these rapid preliminary results for all Access Medical orders by default. If you'd prefer to wait for the full report, you can easily disable preliminary results in your Rupa account settings.

Trends is practitioner-only for now, but not for long! Soon, clients will be able to upload their past lab results themselves, making it easier to share their health history with you.

Practitioners can now see and handle specimen issues right from the Dashboard.

• We'll notify you immediately if the lab has a sample processing issue.
• Filter to see all your delayed orders and orders requiring your action.
• Choose how to handle the issue from easy options, including: full/partial recollection, refund, or accept the partial results.
  

With Results Over Time, you can now automatically view the trending of blood and hormone markers for your patients at a glance!

It works with blood biomarkers from Access Medical Labs, AML drawn at Labcorp, Boston Heart, and hormone markers from ZRT and Doctor's Data - with support for more labs on the way! 

To use it, navigate to a patient's Details page. And from there, select the Results Over Time tab. That's it!
