The steps to get started are:
1. Create an account with Rupa if you don't have one yet.
2. Sign in and begin customizing your LabShop, to get a live page set up in as quick as 2 minutes.
3. While on your LabShop page, you can add Physician Services to your account to partner with a physician who is licensed in your clients states.
When you create your LabShop, you'll be able to add in your own line item called a Custom Fee, typically used to include program or follow-up consultation cost. Your clients pay Rupa directly for testing plus the custom fee through the landing page. Custom Fees are paid out to you via Stripe on the first Friday after your client's results have come in. Your team can manage your Stripe activity directly from the "Payouts" tab in your Rupa portal.

Once your client chooses their testing from your LabShop, Rupa handles the rest! In check-out, clients fill out their demographic info and pay Rupa directly for testing plus your custom fee. The lab test order is placed and reviewed by the nationally-licensed Physician Services signing physician. After payment, kits drop-ship from our partner labs. We send your client a personalized instructions email on how to complete their tests, including local phlebotomy options if the test requires a blood draw. Along the way, our support team checks in to make sure your client completes testing, and they can always reach us directly with questions at support@rupahealth.com. When results are in, the signing physician will screen for critical values. In the case of an urgent value, the signing physician will contact your client directly. Rupa’s Physician Services is a way for Rupa practitioners to partner with a nationally-licensed signing physician in their clients state. With this service, the signing physician is responsible for placing lab test orders and reviewing results for any critical values. While clients are typically working primarily with their Rupa practitioners, the signing physician is available to both clients and practitioners as an additional resource, with follow-up consultation available for $50 for 20 minutes. We recommend this resource for clients and practitioners who would benefit from extra support, primarily on urgent or out-of-range general markers. Key Details:
Clients will receive their results automatically via email as soon as they become available. Your team will be able to view client results in the “My LabShop” orders tab, separate from your main Rupa dashboard where any individual order results will live.
LabShops is designed to help our practitioners scale themselves, removing admin work and reaching even more clients. Any healthcare practitioner with a Rupa account can set up a LabShop, for no additional fee.
